Review by Tavares S. Carney – “the Christian Page Turner”
In The Big Payback, author, Cederick Tardy draws upon his personal life experiences and advises from his own perspective, and probably many more young males, single mothers on what it is he thinks are the methods and strategies to raise a successful young man. Having had to deal with childhood emotions he so candidly shares in this work, he gives mothers who may not have an open line of communication with their son insight into what may be going through the minds of their young man. Review by Tavares S. Carney – “the Christian Page Turner”
From beginning to end, the author of Sinful, arouses reader anticipation in yearning to know what each character will do next. After a terrible misunderstanding that lands Marvin, Chandelle’s husband, in jail, everything starts to unravel in their lives. ... (more)

Review by Tavares S. Carney – “the Christian Page Turner”
This is a very good read for elementary readers. I highly recommended this book to young girls between the ages of 5 and 10. It is a very loving story. When parents can’t make sense of something, just maybe grandma or grandpa can. Grandparents often have the kind and gentle touch that Terra’s grandma has. She takes the time to share family history, comforts and offers reassurance her granddaughter will most likely carry for a lifetime. ... (more)

Review by Tavares S. Carney – “the Christian Page Turner”
Overall, the storyline of this book was really good. Girl and boy grow up in church together. Everyone expects them to be together, that is - except for the two of them. They go about their lives and happen across each other after each have gone thru some life-changing experiences. Now, an unexplainable attraction surfaces and they are left to discern what it is God is really saying.
For me, the book has potential. I would have liked to delve deeper into the story, however. ... (more)
